Hello everyone, Happy Chinese New Year!
It's that time of the year again! A sense of hope and a new beginning. we set ourselves new goals and speculate over how best to pursue them. in this coming issues of Dpi and City Pictorial magazines, we have asked some of our friends to talk about their New Year's resolutions and draw something to do with their personal aspirations for 2008.

Alex came to noodoll studio two days ago with his hand-made noodollbear biscuit! They are so adorable (just like him), it took us a long time to decide whether to eat them or not, but at the end we just couldn't resist the temptation and ate them all. Thank you Alex, they taste great!

Here we would like to present a very exciting new book: Me in my bag:

In this book, 100 Londoners were treated as each individual project and asked to answer a questionnaire in their own words/writings and also bare their soul by opening up their personal carry bag and share it with the rest of the world. This fun project blends design, london life style, fashion, trendy bag styles and photography together and plays on people's insatiable curiosity as to what people have tucked away inside their bags.

yiying & noodoll's July columns

Just got back to the cool air London, to be the odd one I honestly love the present temperature as I was suffering from serious heat stroke in Taipei.
I was away for a month to promote my second book, Fashion Market Two's simplified Chinese version in Beijing and Xia Men, all the details are in my July's columns in both dpi (Taiwan) and City Pictorial (China)magazines.
I have met wonderful creative people during this trip and also witnessed how beautiful Xia Men is, I miss all these fun moments we shared and truely appreciate you all for giving me the oppertunity to share my thoughts with you.

回到倫敦，天氣很悶，可是想起這次在台北不舒服的中暑經驗，
我想我還是投今年的倫敦怪天氣一票。
看報紙報導今年的英國只有一天的夏天 (7月15日)，不知是該開心還是抱怨？哈哈！
上個月為了新書創意市集之玩心大發的簡體版發行到北京和廈門做宣傳，
其中城市畫報和三聯書局聯合舉辦的活動讓我和內地的創意朋友們有了第一次面對面的接觸，
看到很多人的作品, 感染到大家對創作挖心掏肺的一同熱情。
在我7月份這期的雜誌專欄 (dpi & 城市畫報) ，記錄了這趟旅行心得，跟你們分享。

photoshoot part 1

we had a small sesson of photoshoot last saturday for our autumn/winter 07 noodoll t-shirt collection, the weather was moody and it started to rain not long after we started... so there wasn't enough natural light >_< but we had good fun and the result was better than i expected thanx to beautiful Tiphaine to bring those noodoll t-shirts alive, and a big cheers to Iara! also thanx Bruna, Sally and Rebecca for their help.

in noodle town, there are two sweet birds, noobery and noobirr.
noobery flies around the sky happily everyday, she is so happy that she hardly notices things happening around her. noobirr fancies noobery to bits but he shits on peoples' heads and noobery thinks that's rude! but noobirr still follows noobery around and hopes he will get noticed one day.
